Mayo can contribute to wellnes by providing doctors who are willing to connect with patients to give the best possible advice and care. It is important to realize that many of us have seen numerous doctors before coming to Mayo and have had poor experiences where physicians haven’t taken us seriously or have overlooked or dismissed symptoms and pathology. Those experiences are then carried with us wherever we go making trust and compliance a difficult task in this situation.
