The Breast Clinic is Now on Facebook

By Jason Pratt @jasonpratt

It’s fitting that we launch our new Breast Clinic Facebook page during October, breast cancer awareness month. Visit the page at to see some of the events Mayo Clinic is sponsoring, as well as to keep up with what’s new in breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and research through our videos, stories and posts.

The breast clinics at Mayo Clinic provide comprehensive care for people who have breast cancer and other high-risk breast conditions. The Facebook page will help build community among patients and others interested in breast cancer with timely information about medical care, research, support groups, events and caregivers. Visit the page now to learn more about a yoga class for breast cancer survivors on the Florida campus or to watch a video about surgical options for breast cancer patients.

Our next event takes place this Saturday, October 8th, from 7:30p.m. to 10:30p.m. It is the 7th Annual Upbeat Pink, “A Night in Vegas” which promotes breast cancer awareness and celebrates survivor-ship. It is free and open to the public. Find out more about this event and let us know if you plan to attend, through the event on Facebook.
